Grading of Walks:Easy: Under 5 hours walking per day over easy terrain with gentle gradients Easy to Medium: Under 5 hours walking per day over some challenging terrain Medium: Up to 6 hours per day with some challenging terrain or steep gradients Medium to Fit: 6 to 8 hours per day with challenging terrain and steep gradients Fitness Essential: Up to 8 hours per day over rugged terrain
Note: The fitter the trip the faster the pace required. All trip times are only a best guess as weather, fitness of party and terrain will change the length of the trip. If you are unsure about your fitness for a trip please talk to the trip leader or Chief Guide.
