Safety:

 Please ensure your safety by informing the trip leader of any medical condition including medications, disability or special needs you have.

 
First Aid Kits

The Club has 2 comprehensive kits and several members hold current first aid certificates. A first aid kit is normally carried by the trip leader.

 

Trip Leaders Duties:

Arrange departure times and meeting place.

Ensure the website has the current details.

Advise new members on food and gear to bring.

Obtain maps and take club first aid kit.

Advise the Chief Guide of safe return and numbers who participated.

Write a trip report.

 If unable to lead the trip, arrange for a substitute trip leader and advise Chief Guide.

 
Overdue trips:

Note to parents,relatives or friends of members 

Should a party be late in returning, please do not worry unduely as there is probably a good reason for the delay.

If you are concerned please contact the Chief Guide or Committee Member (see Contact Us).

 

Note to Members 

Members should tell someone where they are going and when they are due back.

Members musr ensure that the Club Secretary has a name and phone number of a contact person to notify if the trip is overdue
